How It Works
- Disable Advanced Look Controls (ALC) in Apex Legends — the script is designed to work with the game's standard input behavior for consistent recoil control. However, Per Optic bleed through is supported.
- Set Look Deadzone to None in-game — this allows the script to read raw stick input so the recoil assistance system can operate accurately.
- Keep controller vibration enabled — the script uses vibration signals to detect certain gameplay events and weapon behavior.
- Enable Adaptive Triggers (PS5 or PC using PS controller) — the script reads trigger feedback to automatically detect weapon firing behavior.
- Connect your controller to the FRONT USB ports on the Cronus Zen — this ensures the device can properly process controller signals.
- For PC users, set the Zen Emulator Output Protocol to PlayStation 5 in ZenStudio — this allows the script to use PS5 trigger feedback for automatic weapon detection.
- If playing through Steam, disable Steam Input for Apex Legends — this prevents Steam from interfering with the controller signals used by the script.
- Once these settings are configured, the script can correctly interpret your controller inputs, detect weapon behavior, and apply the appropriate recoil and gameplay features.
